Managing People on Chrome Accounts in Mac OS X

Issue

Users in campus offices frequently need to access the "department" Google (email) account as well as their own manhattan.edu account and possibly even their own personal gmail.com account.

Google Chrome contains a feature that allows you to add another Person. This "Person" acts as another account on Chrome. It is able to separate data between Persons, making it easier to utilize different Google accounts without conflict.

This would also be a solution for people who are getting Single Sign On (SSO) issues when accessing Self-Service or Banner since their "department" account does not have Banner/SSB access (they need to use their own account).

Environment

This feature is accessible on Google Chrome for Mac OS X.
