Steps

  • Once you have joined your meeting, if you don't already have the polls icon, you can find it, and other apps, under the + Apps button. Select Polls.

  • If you have an existing poll it shows on the right side, you also have the option to + New poll.

  • When clicking +New poll, you get a questions selection screen with the following options:
    • Multiple choice (Quick stand alone question with different options)
    • Quiz (Question with correct answer to gauge comprehension)
    • Word Cloud (Open text responses displayed in a dynamic word cloud)
    • Rating (Gain insight from your respondents' reactions)
    • Ranking (Allow respondents to rank items)
  • I am choosing rating for this example.
  • Input your question, select desired options then save as draft or launch now. Options will change based on question type selected.
Hint: (Setup your polls in advance using the save draft option and launch on demand using poll history.)

  • These are meant to be one offs as you go. Use the history button to review prior polls.

  • Under poll history, click the three dots and Response details to view responses to polls.
