Mac OS – Apple Computers

You can capture your entire screen or a selected portion of it. The screenshot is automatically saved to your desktop.

The Snipping Tool is the easiest way to capture screenshots in Windows.

Jing – PC/Mac 

Jing is free software for Windows and Mac that allows you to take screenshots and apply basic visual elements. These visual elements such as arrows and callout boxes can also be applied to any image stored on your computer.
