Backup Google Apps data using Google Takeout

Google Takeout will allow you to create an archive of your data from Goggle products.
With Google Takeout you can backup data from several Goggle Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc.) to a convenient ZIP folder.

  1. Visit Google Takeout
  2. Log into your JasperNet account:

  1. This will take you to the settings in Google Apps where Google Takeout is hosted
  2. Check off the Apps that you would like to backup the data for and then select Next:

  1. Choose your desired File Type. We recommend the .zip format. Note: Archives larger than 2GB will be split into multiple .zip files.
  2. Choose your desired Delivery Method.
  3. Select Create Archive.

  1. Once you reach the screen shown below you could either create a new archive or manage old archives

  1. Once the archive is created an email will be sent to you letting you know it is ready. Depending on the size of the archive it could take anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of hours.
