Accessing the Student Employee 101 Training Course

Summary

A guide on requesting supervisory instructor access and self enrollment for the Student Worker 101 Training Course.

Body

About

If you supervise student workers, you will want to have instructor access to the Student Worker 101 Moodle Course that student workers take when they are first hired. Once supervisors are added as instructors to the Student Worker 101 Training Course, they will be able to monitor student worker progress in the course. In addition, student employees will have to self enroll.

Steps

Supervisors

Supervisors must request access to become an instructor in the course via the following service: Request Supervisory Access to Student Worker 101 Training Course. This will allow you to monitor the progress of your student workers.

Student Employees

Student Employees can self enroll in the course by simply navigating to the course via the following link: Student Employee 101 Training Course. The student employee must make sure that they are logged in in the top right corner of the window. After logging in, you will have to select the Self Enroll button that will appear for the course after logging in. If you view the course using guest access, you will not be able to complete the required quiz materials. At the end of the course, they will complete a survey to collect feedback.
