Event Start Time

Enter the date and time for the first occurrence of the event. The date and time that you put here will show up on the Manhattan.edu Calendar, on Digital Signage, and in other public locations. Be sure to enter the exact time that the event starts. If you'd like to reserve the room for additional time before the event starts, you can add a buffer in the "Setup or Pre-Event time?" below. Please see the appropriate section below for more details on how to do so.

Event End Time

The value that you put here will show up on the Manhattan.edu Calendar, on Digital Signage, and in other public locations. Be sure to enter the exact time that the event ends. If you'd like to reserve the room for additional time after the event ends, you can add a buffer in the "Post-Event or Takedown time?" below. Please see the appropriate section below for more details on how to do so.

Setup or Pre-Event time?

Setup v. Pre-Event

Pre-Event time would be a time period during which you want the room to be entirely set up and ready for attendees to start wandering in, while Setup time is an amount of time that is allotted to arranging furniture, testing systems, etc.

Setup

This field books an additional "X" amount time before the start time (or Pre-Event time) of the event. Example: If your event starts at 3:00 pm on a Wednesday, entering 1 day 3 hours and 15 minutes reserves the room for an additional 27 hours and 15 minutes before the event starts, making the room reservation officially start at 11:45 am on Tuesday for Setup.

Pre-Event

This field books an additional "X" amount time before the start time of the event. Example: If your event starts at 3:00 pm on a Wednesday, entering 0 days 0 hours and 45 minutes reserves the room for an additional 45 minutes before the event starts, making the room reservation officially start at 2:15 pm on Wednesday for Pre-Event.

Post-Event or Takedown time?

Post-Event v. Takedown

Post-Event time would be a time period during which you want the room for Post-Event meandering, while Takedown time is an amount of time that is allotted to breaking down furniture, cleaning up, etc.

Post-Event

This field books an additional "X" amount time after the end time of the event. Example: If your event ends at 3:00 pm on a Wednesday, entering 0 days 0 hours and 30 minutes reserves the room for an additional 0 hours and 30 minutes before the event starts, making the room reservation officially start at 11:45 pm for Setup.

Takedown

This field books an additional "X" amount time before the end time (or Post-Event time) of the event. Example: If your event starts at 3:00 pm on a Wednesday, entering 0 day 0 hours and 45 minutes reserves the room for an additional 45 minutes before the event starts. Making the room reservation officially start at 11:45 pm for Pre-Event.
