How to Revert Back to The Classroom Hybrid Learning Technology

This KBA is meant to walk you through reverting back to a hybrid classroom setup. The hybrid classroom setup is intended for those that will be utilizing remote learning within their classroom.

Environment

Hybrid Learning technology located  in the classrooms (Speacermic, Document Camera, Web cam). 

Please Note: Once you completed the use of the hybrid technooogy set up please make sure that the tech has been defaulted back to the "On-Site" Setup (unplug camera(s) and speakermic). 

 

1. Plug in Speakermic

  1. Make sure the Speakermic is plugged into the PC or the Monitor. An easy way to determine if the Speakermic is plugged in will be the lights on the device. If the lights are white it is plugged in and ready to use. 

 

2. Mute the Projector/In-Room Audio 

  1. Make sure to mute the in room speakers. If you are in an unrenovated room use the provided Dell remote to mute the projector. 

  2. If you are in a Hall of Research room select the mute button on the control panel

  1. If you are in a Crestron room, mute the room audio by selecting audio mute on the control panel 

 

3. Select the Correct Source

  1. When opening up a Google Meets make sure the audio source selected for both the speaker and microphone are set to Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Hangouts Meet speakermic)
