A Media Access Code (MAC) address is a 12-digit alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies your network device. This code may also be referred to as a physical address or hardware address. In order to help troubleshoot your device on our network or to activate ports in the dorm, you might need to find your MAC address. This guide will help you find your MAC address.
Mac Computer
MacOS
Step 1.
On your computer, click on the Apple icon in the top left. Then click System Preferences and then Network.
Step 2.
A new window will open, select Network from the list on the left.
Step 3.
Click the Advanced button.
Step 4.
On the Wi-Fi tab, Wi-Fi Address is your MAC address.
iOS Device
Step 1.
Go to the Settings and click on General.
Step 2.
Click About and scroll down to Wi-Fi Address, this is your MAC address.
