You can change or blur your background while on a Google Meet on your smartphone or device.
Environment
Android or Apple OS on a smartphone or device.
Steps
1. Open up the Google Meet app on your Apple or Android smart device.
2. Once you have joined or started your meeting, you will see your camera tile on the bottom right side of the screen. You will see a 3 star icon over your camera tile, click on the icon.
Note: If your camera is muted the star icon will not appear.
3. Once you have clicked on the icon, you will see several options for blurring or changing your background. You can choose a Manhattan College branded image from this link.
