This article will review how to find keyboard shortcut combinations to perform tasks on your computer.
Environment
Desktop/Laptop computers.
Steps
There are multiple ways to accomplish tasks on your computer. You can navigate the Menu Bar or right click and navigate the right click menu. Another way is to use keyboard shortcuts. For example, you can quickly cut, copy and paste by using Ctrl + X, Ctrl + C, and Ctrl + V on your Windows device. On Macs you would replace Ctrl with the Command key which sits to the left/right of the space button. While you could search the web for common keyboard shortcuts you can also simply take note of them in your computers menu. Note that Keyboard shortcuts show up next to your menu items when they are available. Below I show a screens shot from a Mac menu where you can see the shortcuts to the right of the menu items.
