In this article we will review how to manage your team membership in Microsoft Teams.

Environment

Microsoft Teams

Steps

  • Navigate to your desired team or channel.
  • Click the three dot menu.
  • Click Manage team

  • Click the Members tab at the top
  • You will see current members.
  • Use the drop down menu under role to change role from member to owner.
  • Use the X to the right of a member to remove them.
