How to Transition from Google Chrome to Microsoft Edge

✅ Step 1: Download and Install Microsoft Edge 

1. Visit the official Microsoft Edge website: https://www.microsoft.com/edge 

2. Click Download, then run the installer. 

3. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.

✅ Step 2: Launch Edge and Import Data from Chrome 

1. Open Microsoft Edge. 

2. On first launch, Edge will prompt you to import your data. 

3. If you skipped that or want to do it manually: 

   - Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner. 

   - Go to Settings > Profiles > Import browser data. 

   - Under “Import from,” select Google Chrome. 

   - Choose what to import: Bookmarks, Passwords, Autofill data, History, Open tabs. 

   - Click Import. 

Hint: (Make sure Chrome is closed during import for best results.)

✅ Step 3: Sign in with Your Microsoft Account 

1. In Edge, click the profile icon in the top-right corner. 

2. Sign in with your Microsoft account to enable: 

   - Syncing bookmarks, passwords, history, and extensions 

   - Personalization and cross-device browsing
