In this article we will review how to create a shortcut to a website on your Windows desktop.

Environment

Microsoft Windows

Steps

  • Right click on your desktop.
  • Mouse over New and then click Shortcut

  • Type in the full URL including https://
  • Click Next

  • Name your shortcut and click Finish

  • Your shortcut will now display on your desktop.
