This article will show you how to transfer an event to a new owner and how to accept the transfer.
Environment
Google Calendar
Transfer Ownership
1. Open Google Calendar and click on the event you wish to change the owner of.

2. Select "Change Owner"
3. Type in the name of the person you wish to transfer the event to and then click "Change Owner". This will send an email to the person with a link they need to click in order to accept the transfer.
Please Note: The transfer will not be complete until the new owner clicks the link and accepts the transfer.
Accept Ownership
1. Once someone has made you owner of their event you will get an email from them with details about the transfer.
2. Inside the email is a link. Click the link to accept the ownership transfer. The transfer will not be complete until you click the link to accept.
