Mandatory ITS Onboarding Procedures

On behalf of ITS, welcome to Manhattan College! In order to gain access to your JasperNet account, you will need to complete the 2 mandatory onboarding steps. Your JasperNet account is the portion of your email before the “@manhattan.edu”. 

*** You will need to enroll in Duo first as you will need to complete the training while you are logged in with your JasperNet account.

Step 1

Step 1: Activate Your JasperNet Account

You can activate your JasperNet account by following these directions. 

If you have already activated your account please go directly to Step 2.

Step 2: Enroll in Duo

What is Duo?: Duo is a multi-factor authentication (MFA) tool for protecting Manhattan College services such as Gmail, Banner, Argos, Workflow, and more. It works by using a second source of validation, like a phone or token, to verify your identity before granting access. This increases security as it requires an additional, but quick, step to authenticate the login attempt by notifying your mobile device. Enrolling in Duo is an important step as you will not be able to access your account until you do so.
 

How do I enroll?: Please use this guide for direction on enrollment.
 

What if I do not have a phone?: If you do not have a smart phone or device that can be used to authenticate your login, please contact ITS by emailing its@manhattan.edu or calling 718-862-7973. You will need to coordinate an appointment with ITS to receive a Duo Security Token, where a member of the team will set it up for you and provide guidance on how to use it.

It is asking me for a bypass code but I do not have one: Please email its@manhattan.edu or call 718-862-7973 and someone will assist you.

Step 3: Complete Mandatory Cyber Security Training

How can I access the training?: Use this link to access the course. You will need to log in with your JasperNet credentials. It can be taken on a computer or mobile device.
 

Do I need to send my certificate?: No. You do not need to send anyone your completion certificate. It is for your records only.
