In this article we will review how to batch add/remove holds in Banner Forms.
Environment
Banner Forms in a desktop browser.
Steps
- Navigate to Banner Forms as you normally would.
- If you have not already done so, make a population. You will need a population to batch apply/remove holds. Review this article on how to make a population before proceeding.
- Type "TGPHOLD" at the Banner Forms home screen.
- Unless you want an actual print out, set printer to "DATABASE".
- Selection Identifier is your population.
- Application Code is the application. In this example we are using the STUDENT application.
- Enter the creator and user ID. This would normally be your own ID.
- The Hold Rule Code is "A" for apply and "R" for remove.
- Run Mode should be "U" for update.
- When done, make sure to click into the submission block and then click the SAVE button at the bottom right of the screen.
