Overview
Manhattan College employees can request software to be installed in Manhattan College computer labs.
Notes
- Software listed in the List of Software Available in Computer Labs is already slated to be installed. It is not necessary to submit requests for this software, unless updating to a new version.
- Forms for New Software requests (Not Updates to currently installed software), may require a meeting with the ITS Operations team and Assistant Director for approval.
- Please allow time because request and software media must be submitted by the Software Request Deadline.
- The Operations team will perform a series of feasibility tests to determine whether or not we can support installation of the requested software package(s) in our environment. In rare cases, software packages may not be fully compatible with our lab environment and/or computer lab imaging process.
- If there is a cost associated with the software being requested, appropriate approvals must be garnered prior to request being submitted.
- If there is a cost associated with the software being requested, payer must be indicated on form.
- Software Request forms must be completely filled out in order for the approval process to begin.
- Fully completed software request must be received before due date.
- Software media and license must be received before due date.
- The due date for the Fall semester is the second Friday of May.
- The due date for the Spring semester is the second Friday of November.
- Email notifications will be sent out each semester with the exact due dates.
- You will receive an approval or denial email from ITS via our ticketing system within two weeks. This time is required for preliminary investigations to determine if we can fulfill your request.
- If you would like to, you may attach a sample file or include in the comments section a simple procedure to test the software.

Getting Started
To request this service click "Request Service". If this is a new software, you must meet with the Operations Team and Director after submitting this form. They will reach out to you via the ticketing system.
