About
Proxy access provides an opportunity for students to grant online access to their records using Self-Service. The most common scenario is granting a parent, spouse or legal guardian proxy access to a student’s information. Access is granted by the student, who must provide a valid email address as well as other information for the designated proxy.

Steps

- Navigate to Banner Self-Service as you normally would.
- Upon logging in you will notice the Proxy Management button on the My Profile page to the right of the Personal Information button.
- Click the Proxy Management button.
- At the Proxy Management page you will see any proxy access given prior. If you have not yet provided any proxy access, it will show: "There are no proxies available for you to view. Click Add New to add a proxy."
- Click the + Add New button to add a proxy.
- Fill out the form completely.
- Note that you are able to specify a date range for proxy access.
- If you had provided proxy access to someone prior, you have the option to copy prior access provided by selecting the desired proxy.
- You will otherwise need to specify desired access to grant utilizing the check marks. If you wish to provide full access, just check mark select all.
- When done, click submit at the bottom.
- Your proxy will receive two emails, one with instructions and one with a password for initial log in. The email will come from web4proxy@manhattan.edu so remind the designated proxy to be on the lookout for that email.
