Hint: If you are a faculty member and would like Office 365 installed on your FLI laptop or office desktop, w
e have a different license for Manhattan College owned devices. Please visit one of our Client Services offices or email
its@manhattan.edu to make an appointment.

Steps
Step 1: First, navigate to the appropriate website listed below:
Step 2: Scroll down and type in your school email address. Then select the blue box that says "Get Office For Free"
Step 3: On the next screen, Student will select: "I'm a student". Faculty and staff will select "I'm a teacher" This will generate a verification email that will be sent to the email address you entered.
Step 4: Find that verification email and click on the "Complete Office 365 Education Signup" link to complete the process of verifying your email address. Microsoft will also send you a Verification Code that you will need to enter after your password.
Step 5: On the next page, enter your first and last name and then create a password for your account.
Step 6: That's it. You're all signed up. You will be redirected to your new Office 365 account portal.
At the home page of your Office 365 portal you will see links to all of your Office 365 apps.
You will also see a link that says "Install Office":
Once you select Install Office your Free Office 365 will begin downloading.
The website senses what type of device you are on and downloads the appropriate version of Office. If you log into the portal from a computer with a different operating system, it will offer you the appropriate version for that operating system.
